COVID-19 NOTICE: Bawd Hall is open for business.  From 14 September, it will be against the law to meet people you do not live with in a group larger than 6, so guests should limit their parties accordingly. We are following the "We're good to go" industry standard and have a risk assessment in place and a process to maintain cleanliness.

Bawd Hall - Your Country House

We have a number of guests who return each year and treat Bawd Hall as their own “Country House“. For instance, a couple can book for one or more weeks and have different visitors during their stay. Sometimes there may be a special celebration (see section on “celebrations & get-togethers”), but no excuse is necessary:

  • discount available for multiple week bookings;
  • weekly cleaning and laundry change;
  • five bedrooms – three large doubles with en-suites, and two which can be configured as doubles or twins, provides very flexible accommodation;
  • very well-equipped and spacious kitchen, with adjacent dining area, makes preparing that special meal a pleasant and sociable experience;
  • large lounge and garden room to gather in;
  • excellent restaurants in the area, or groceries delivered to your door;
  • central heating throughout (and an open fire if you want it);
  • plenty of car parking;
  • attractive and scenic garden with seating and barbeque.

  • excellent pubs and inns for lunch or dinner, plus award-winning restaurants;
  • relax in the house and enjoy wonderful views even if the weather is unkind;
  • save going to the supermarket – order groceries on-line to be delivered to the door.
